Check out Part 1 and Part 2 if you haven’t already.
Are we having fun yet?
Let’s play a little game that will help us further reinforce the archetypal vibes of Aries, Leo, and Gemini within your mental schema. What if I wanted to represent my “Big 3” as characters from HBO’s hit series Entourage?
As I’ve already written about, my Aries Sun is obviously Ari (it’s right in his name!). He’s bold and aggressive and headstrong. He doesn’t take shit from anybody.
My Leo Moon is Vince—hahaha no of course it’s not Vince. Why would I ever want to relate to Vince? Just because he’s an actor and they usually get typed as Leos does not mean I’m choosing him. He has the emotional range of a cardboard box and that German director was right to fire him from his role in Smoke Jumpers.
My Leo Moon is actually Billy Walsh; writer, director, and a bit of a drama queen. He is unrelenting in his pursuit of self-expression. He’s got to get everything just right, even if it delays production by a month. He is dramatically fixing his fire inwards towards crafting the perfect piece of art and he’ll be damned if he lets his creative vision be compromised by a fucking suit.
Who is my Gemini Ascendant? Remember Gemini is an intelligent and versatile trickster. He might shape-shift into Bugs Bunny and pull the conceptual rug out from under you.
My Gemini Ascendant is Doug Ellin, the creator of Entourage. He’s here to break the fourth wall and remind you that Entourage is not Real.
It’s a TV Show.
These characters aren’t real.
None of this is real.
Stop looking at your screen.
